Sorprendida por un Oasis. Surprised by an Oasis.

Santa Lucia de Ingenio es un pequeño pueblo del sureste Grancanario. Rodeado por montañas escarpadas y un fertil Oasis de palmeras y pinos canarios.

Santa Lucia de Ingenio is a small town of the south-east Gran Canaria . Surrounded by steep mountains and a fertile Oasis of palm trees and Canary pines.



En invierno sus montañas pueden estar nevadas y la lluvia , que aquí es abundante , hacen de este lugar un entorno maravilloso con muchos saltos de agua.

In winter the mountains used to be covered with snow and it rains with regularity. So, this place turns into a wonderful environment with many waterfalls.
Ahora en verano y con unas temperaturas elevadas aún corre el agua en pequeños riachuelos.

Now in summer and despite of the high temperatures, there are still some streams.

Vacaciones . Holidays .

No publicaré nada hasta mediados de Agosto pues me voy de vacaciones y quiero desearles unas muy Felices Vacaciones !!!

I will stop publishing until middle of August. I'm going on holidays and want to wish you a "Very Happy Holidays"!!!

Aunque tengo muchas cosas empezadas sucumbí ante este bonito Quaker aparecido en la revista The Giff of Stitching de Wal D`Champs . Este es otro de los diseños que trabajaré durante mis vacaciones.

Though I have many works in process I surrendered to this nice quaker published in the magazine The Giff of Stitching of Wal D`Champs. This is one of the designs that I will work during my holidays.
